- Hand wash only - avoid the use of any caustic cleaning solutions or power sprays – instead rinse in clean water whilst brushing briskly with a plastic brush or scourer, then season the pan again.
- Oven safe up to 250°C
Any aluminium frying pans that do not have a non stick interior coating will benefit from being ‘seasoned’. Method for seasoning a pan: - Cover the bottom of the pan with a little cooking oil, and heat until the oil starts to smoke. After removing the surplus oil, the pan will have a light brown coating, and is ready for use. Thereafter it will have the properties of a non-stick pan, provided it is only rinsed in water or wiped with kitchen paper after use. Re season as necessary.
